12 Good Fatty Archetypes Educational Comic

This comic was created in response to an ongoing conversation happening in Fat Activism circles around bids for social legitimacy that backfire on the most marginalised in our communities. It’s based very loosely on Foucauldian geneaology in that it looks beneath the surface of commonplace representations and asks questions about the work they do in the world. It was first published on my own blog and then reprinted by Everyday Feminism. It is now used by Fat Studies and feminist academics as an educational tool and has been cited in multiple academic articles.
